We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join a growing family owned and operated Spokane based company. The Accounting Assistant will evolve to the Head of Payroll for the right person.

- enter daily time cards
- reconcile hours to verification spreadsheets
- process payroll
- prepare garnishment responses
- set up new employees
- set up benefit deductions for eligible employees
- update employee information in Sage
- reconcile monthly insurance billings
- approve bills for payment
- accounts payable data entry
- maintain certified hour records for employees
- other duties as assigned

- 2 years accounting experience
- payroll entry and processing experience
- multi-state, departmental, and job costing experience
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to multitask
- ability to remain calm under pressure

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay is $17+ DOE
